  1. Good Afternoon, My husband is a published author of his first book “His Life Was a Lie”, published by the book guild in Hove. Jonathan S Harvey is his name and the book is available on amazon and e book. His is an ex Detective Inspector retired from Sussex Police and uses his real experience in his writing. His book (and the second with the publishers now) are set in Brighton, Hove , Crawley with the finale to both in Southern Spain in the Malaga mountains. He would be delighted to be involved in the books fest and happy to give talks or meetings. Please review him on Facebook Twitter and Amazon. Many thanks and appreciate your comments. Best Wishes Diana.

  2. Dear Wordfest,

Hello. I’d love to perform at your festival. I’m a comic poet and singer from North Cornwall. My act is quite unique, people tell me, combining clever word play, verse and song with satire, parody and audience participation. I deal with such important topics as squid, second homes, the weather in Scotland, distressed furniture and tuk-tuks. I have appeared at literature, arts and folk festivals all over the UK and in Australia. In April 2015 I appeared at three top Australian festivals including the National Folk Festival in Canberra. I have just published my second book of poems, prose and songs (Distressed). If you would like a copy please let me know.
Please have a look at my website http://www.robbarratt.co.uk. or listen to this Mike Harding podcast: https://www.mixcloud.com/mikeharding10/the-mike-harding-folk-show-number-146/. Alternatively look at this clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQauysUPI2s.

“This is not only clever but I think it’s very funny” (Mike Harding)

“His head is well and truly located in ‘Planet Barratt,’ clearly a place of wonderfully bizarre inspiration” (Coventry Telegraph)

“So clever it’s daft“ (Telltales, Falmouth, Cornwall)

    “Mind-bending poetry” (Twickfolk, London)

Please bear me in mind for your next festival. You can call me on 01566 880336 or 07795461023.

    Thanks. Rob Barratt.
